As of October 31, 2023, we’ve enhanced your online and mobile banking experience with a new option for securing your accounts. In addition to your Access ID and Passcode, when you are prompted for an additional authentication step, known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you now have the option to receive a security code sent to your email address or mobile number.
A security code is for one-time use and will be valid for 10 minutes from the time it is requested. If the code is not entered within that time limit, you can request a new code. You will still have the option to answer your pre-selected security questions.
Make changes to your security code delivery preferences by logging into your online banking profile:

Remember, Peoples Bank doesn’t charge for text messages, but your mobile service provider’s text and data rates may apply.
